Every
mom in unique. Every mom is important in their child’s life. Yet
making her feel special is not a big deal.
Most
of us, take our mother’s presence in our lives, granted. A presence
that we grow used to, an individual whom we know we can always fall
back on in times of need and comfort. She makes our home, she is our
home. Days, months and years pass, we forget to thank her for all
that she does for us, not that she asks for one. But often a little
show of gratitude works wonders.

why not plan something for her once in a while and make her feel that

for your mom. Here are a few tips that might help you to organize a
day that your mom will cherish.
Acknowledge
her life outside motherhood- Give her a day off. Let her do
whatever she wants to. Shopping, driving, lazing around, reading
books, going out with friends- that is what we all do, right? She too
is entitled to it all. Gift her the freedom of spending a day or a
weekend, the way she wants to.
Enroll
her for her favorite activity- You must have heard your mother
talking about something she is interested in. A bakery class, a
singing class, a gym, or maybe an acting workshop? Every woman has a
passion. Plan with your father and/or the rest of the family and find
a class she might like to join. It will not only please her, it will
help her to follow her dreams.

Make
a small tribute video- There are people in your mother’s life,
along with you, whom she treasures. Build up a short story and ask
the family and her friends to contribute in saying something about
her. Small things of the past, songs that she loved, incidents that
she cherished, funny anecdotes and of course do not forget to tell
her how much she is loved. Share it on her phone or have a small show
with everyone together.
Pamper
her- Pampering is something that mothers are best at. Why not
return the same to her this Mother’s Day? Surprise her with an
appointment at a spa and a salon. Take her shopping for new dress and
accessories. Make her feel young and invigorated. End the day with a
small gift and a dinner. She will love this indulgence.
